Qualifiers were held Saturday and it was a very predictable first and second place with Mercedes' Bottas and Hamilton. Hamilton, who won last week despite finishing with a puncture is starting off in podium position tomorrow.
Sub, Nico Hülkenberg is driving for Racing Point again this weekend after Sergio Perez tested positive for COVID-19. Hülkenberg had a spectacular qualifying race and is P3 heading into tomorrow. Canadian driver, Lance Stroll finished P6 getting both Racing Point drivers in the top 10.
Ricciardo finished fifth, equalling Renault's best time of the season, said he feels good about where Renault it right now, "I think fifth is an awesome result for us and I'm very happy with that." Ocon finished P14, a disappointing qualifier for the Frenchman. "The gap to Daniel [Ricciardo] was clearly big in that session so we need to investigate why."

Ferrari had a disappointing qualifying with driver Charles Leclerc finishing at P8 and Vettel even lower. "It seems we are stuck and of course it's disappointing to be in twelfth. We are where we are for a reason, we are just not fast enough," said Vettel. Ferrari is definitely going to have a challenge improving their results in tomorrows race.
Excitement is building up for the race celebrating the 70th anniversary of Formula One. For Canadians, TSN 1 has pre-game coverage starting at 6:30 a.m. with the race following at 8:10 a.m.
